Principal Lisa Heinbaugh

Lisa Heinbaugh was employed as a principal of Philip Barbour High School in July of 2010.  Having graduated in 1982, she is a returning alumni.  Her undergraduate studies include B.A. bachelors in Elementary Education, Social Studies, and Specific Learning Disabilities from AB College.  She attained her M.A.  in Education Leadership from WVU.

Mrs. Heinbaugh has taught special education classes.  At Philippi Middle School where she served as a social studies teacher.  She was also the director of the CTE center before becoming principal.

She has two children, Paige and Chase Byrne.

Mark W. Lamb, Associate Principal

Mark W. Lamb was employed in 2000 as Associate Principal of the Philip Barbour High School Complex. He is a 1981 graduate of Philip Barbour. He has a B.S. degree in Secondary Education, Chemistry 7-12 and General Science 7-12 from Alderson Broaddus College. He also has a M.A. degree in education administration with postgraduate hours from West Virginia University.

Mr. Lamb taught Chemistry I, Conceptual Chemistry, Environmental Science, Space Science, Photography, and West Virginia Travel & Tourism at Oak Glen High School from 1988-2000. While teaching there, he participated in athletics as Head Baseball Coach, Assistant Wrestling Coach, and Assistant Football Coach. He was the West Virginia Coach for the 1991 Ohio Valley Athletic Conference All Star Football Game, was the 1994 & 1996 The Evening Review Baseball Coach of the Year, and was included in Who’s Who Among High School Teachers for two years.

Mark and his wife, Karen (PBHS 1980), are the parents of a daughter, Codi, and a son, Jordan.

Autumn R. Queen, Associate Principal

Autumn R. Queen was employed in January 2005 as Associate Principal at Philip Barbour High School Complex. She also teaches Kindergarten in the mornings at Belington Elementary School. She is a 1990 graduate of Philip Barbour High School. Mrs. Queen has a B.A. degree in Elementary Education from Alderson Broaddus College. She also has a M.A. degree in Reading (K-12) and a certified reading specialist through West Virginia University. In postgraduate work she has received certification in Administration through West Virginia University.

Mrs. Queen was hired full time in 1995, and has taught Title 1 math and reading, 3 rd grade, 4 th grade, and kindergarten in Barbour County Schools.

Mrs. Queen is active in the Barbour County Fair Association. She has been a member of the board of directors since 1999 and currently is on the executive board. She also is involved in Belington Youth Soccer.

She enjoys hiking, camping, biking, hunting, fishing, and playing sports. She is married to Kevin Queen, a local well technician. They are the parents of a son, Colby and a daughter, Baylee.

Rebecca Nesbitt, CTE  Director

Rebecca Nesbitt earned her degree from Weslyan.  She holds a Masters in Marketing and Business.  She is an alumni from Buckhannon-Upsher High School where she taught Marketing classes before coming to Philip-Barbour High School.  Originally she was the Co-op director and a teacher of Child Nutrition classes.  Now she is the director of the CTE center at Philip Barbour.

Mrs. Nesbitt lives on a farm with her husband, five horses, a dog, and a cat.  In her spare time she enjoys singing and riding horses.
